The Learning Environment I found the certificate course enormously helpful. I’m a newcomer to the nonprofit world, and every class brought immediately applicable information. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Rebecca Harris, Executive Director, Contoocook Valley Transportation Co.
Students in the Nonprofit Management Program are active practitioners and leaders in Northern New England’s vibrant nonprofit community. Learning takes place in our day long, face to face intensives, and continues outside of class in our online portals.
The certificate course is designed for busy professionals. Most of our students work full time, many as nonprofit executive directors. To be successful in this class, students must reserve eleven Fridays for the face to face workshops at the heart of the program. Students also commit to completing a short reading and participating in an online discussion forum each week. The guideline for homework is «1 1» one hour of preparation for each workshop.
Students can miss two workshops and still successfully complete the certificate course. Excused absences may be made up the following semester, space permitting.
Academic credit
Students who wish to apply learning from the certificate program to a real world project can enroll in NPM601 The Practicum in Nonprofit Management. Upon successful completion of the practicum course, students receive 3 graduate credits issued by the Marlboro College Graduate and Professional Studies Program. These credits can be transferred into Marlboro’s MS in Managing Mission Driven Organizations.
Students can enroll in the practicum concurrently with the certificate program, or in any subsequent semester. The practicum is a guided independent study that challenges students to take the certificate learning to a deeper level by applying the concepts and techniques to a real nonprofit organization. Past projects include everything from designing a Facebook presence for a social service organization to performing a cost benefit analysis on a daycare program, from developing the agenda for a critical board retreat at an independent school to reimagining the annual fund campaign at a museum. Practicum students complete projects that improve their organizations in exciting and demonstrable ways.
Students in NPM601 Nonprofit Management Practicum will be charged at the regular 3 credit course total of $1860, but will be credited back the $1400 already invested in the certificate. You can apply for graduate credit by selecting NPM601 on the application form.

Where to buy marlboro cigarettes? — dominican republic forum — tripadvisor
Hola!
We are travelling to STB on the week of March 17th for our honeymoon. Since we are from Canada, my fiance loves his American Marlboro' s. Does anyone know where the best place is to buy these for the least amount of money? He has read on some forums that there is a «Plaza» that is a 5 minute walk from the resort that has a bank machine, shopping, etc. My understanding is that we' re pretty secluded at STB.
Would it be better to barter with the beach vendors to get the best price for a carton or would it be better to buy them at the duty free at the airport?
Thanks for all your advice! Can' t wait to go!
Molly
