I love gimmicks, so I just absolutely had to try these. The packaging is simple yet attractive there’s a silhouette of the signature camel inside a blue sphere, all on a black background. The cigarettes are all white, and there’s a little marking on the filter indicating where to crush it. In the filter, there’s a tiny blue sphere encapsulating the menthol flavor inside. It’s really satisfying to hear the «pop» upon crushing the ball. For some reason, my friends are always begging to do it for me. P Anyway, the appeal of these are supposed to come from the fact that you can switch the cigarette from a regular one to a menthol in an instant. However, I suggest you pop the ball early on, because the regular flavor is extremely weak and bland. It must be a light, or even an ultra light. On the flip side, the menthol is relatively strong. You can definitely feel the chilliness on your throat and in your lungs. The stark contrast between the unpopped and popped further highlights the menthol. It’s great to be smoking a regular cigarette and then suddenly get hit by the fairly powerful menthol. These probably don’t make a good regular smoke, but I recommend that everyone try at least one pack of these, if only because it’s super fun to crush the filter.
